English: Belgian Strong ale finished with lactic acid bacteriae and matured on Danish red wine casks with sour cherries.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is cherry, alcohol, tart, wood, oak, slight funk, and acidic. The look is cloudy, red to brown in color, with a decent beige colored head. The taste is oak, tart, cherry, acidic, slight vinegar, but pretty good.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a hazy red/ brown colou, with a medium sized fast disappearing beige head. Acidic aroma of red wine, wood, cherries. Notes of alcohol, and dried fruits. Flavour is acidc, like the sour french redwine, dried fruits and cherries and alcohol. More interesting than good.

Miksu (5046) - Jyvskyl, FINLAND - MAY 10, 2009
0,25 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Muddy brown color with vanishing head. Sweet, sour and fruit liquer like aroma with oak, red wine, cherry, strawberry and fresh fish (?). Thick sweet and sour flavor with cherry, red wine and oak. Dryes to finish. Would be better with less alcohol, less oak and less red wine character.

Bottle - Beautiful deep very dark red chestnut body, very little sparkle and a big bubble and right almost white head; The nose has all the rights the share between them are just a little wrong, the aroma reminds me very much of Alexander just with a little to little cherry and a little to much oak, actually quite a bit to much oak; The body has the same experience, the oak tannins are so very apparent that the beer gets the fell of a very cheap oversees Chardonnay, if not for the tannins I think it would have been a quite nice experience, light acid fresh with some malt fill; A very long finish that is greatly overshadowed by the oak tannins the high amount of alcohol is not adding any quality either, the light acid is very pleasant here too but somehow it seems they are more from the grapes that has been in the barrels then from the cherries, lots of oak aromas. This could have been a great beer with less time in the barrels and a lower ABV.
