Süßer schwerer Malzantrunk. Geringer Alkohol, dunkel bananige Noten. Intensiv malzig, zum Ende abnehmend und dadurch runder, weiterhin fruchtig. Gelungenes, zum Ende etwas zu alkoholisches Bier. 11/11/12/9/13/11 fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 28, 2010
Draught at Plan Bsaxo (19276) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2010
The color is almost black. Aroma of caramel, malt, candi sugar, lightly soapy. Good body, strong caramel flavor, a bit too alcoholic, with some sweetness and traces of liquorice. Unrefined. Good, not great.
Tap at Fairbar. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rich fruits, malt, hops, yeast and spices. harrisoni (19165) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2010
Bottle at Euston Tap thanks to Ken. Cloudy dark brown. Thick lasting beige head. Spicy hop Belgian Bit of oak or wood. Intense blackcurrant. I love the fruit and aroma but then dies a little but still close to the first Pannepot I ever had. As close to Caulier Pannepot 2005 I have had.

Bottle. Dark amber beer with a brownish head. Malty aroma, toffee, dark bread, milky notes. Malty fruity flavor, spicy and with brown sugar. mcberko (18573) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 24, 2012
500mL bottle, brought back from the UK by Matts_Property, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small-to-medium tan head. Aroma of caramel malts, brown sugar, candied sugar, some dried fruits and toasted bread. Flavour of Belgian yeast, toasted bread, sweet caramelized malts, a bit of the dried fruits and an alcohol burn. The flavours sort of become muted toward the end, leaving a dry toasted bread and semi-sweet finish. Not very complex for a quad. Decent, but lacking and seemingly uninspired. chrisv10 (18218) - DENMARK - JUL 5, 2010

Deep dark brown color, small beige head. Caramelly, Belgian yeasty nose. Very soft palate. Alcoholic, caramelly, plummy with some dates and hops too. Quite dry, but has ageing potential.
Bottle. It’s a clear, dark reddish brown beer with a very small head. Dried fruits like prunes and raisins on the nose, some alcohol and roasted malts as well. The alcohol barely detectable. The aroma has some bitterness and coffee hints to support the dried fruits and warming alcohol, it’s smooth, full-bodied and warming, finishing with a little too less flavor but sufficient warmth. A really nice one, but it lacks a bit on complexity. 110513
