Draught at Plan BNickls (2607) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - APR 22, 2011
The color is almost black. Aroma of caramel, malt, candi sugar, lightly soapy. Good body, strong caramel flavor, a bit too alcoholic, with some sweetness and traces of liquorice. Unrefined. Good, not great.
Tap, Plan B Aug’ 10. Deep, rich brown with a thin light tan head. Lacto-sweetness and dark fruits in the aroma, and taste very much follows suit. Bit sweet, but a sour quality as well. Little musty and some prunes. Medium body with soft carbonation. Not bad. larsga (7657) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 15, 2011
Smallish brown head. Just barely translucent clear deep dark red
body with light carbonation. Fruity toffeeish soy sauce aroma
with bubblegum, chocolate and alcohol notes. Dry-sweetish fruity
toffeeish bubblegum taste with soy sauce notes. Mid-bodied. Mild,
slightly hot mouthfeel. Dry herbal licorice and chocolate
aftertaste with soy sauce and fruity bubblegum notes. Decent,
but not very interesting. (0.5l bottle, Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.) Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2010
Draught at ølbaren. Clear red/brown - offwhite head. Licorice. Banana. Sweetness. Light spicy. Fruity. Light hoppy. Ryebread. Roasted. Dried fruits. Caramel. Light chocolate. Very sweet. Classic style-wise. olio (10552) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 30, 2015

Pours dark mahogany red color with a small head. Malts and "danish berries" on the nose, some caramel and faint hops. Sweet caramel flavor with malts and ripe fruits and toffee, some sugary and molassy notes too. Not very pleasant. Meh.
Unclear brown with white head. Red candy, Belgian spice, red berries and caramel. Fruity, floral, sweet caramel and some warming alcohol. Overall: enjoyable. Tastes like candy with caramel wort.

0.5L bottle brought home from ØlKonsortiet, Aalborg. A finger of latte head, quickly shrinking to a ring of tiny bubbles. Body is the darkest brown with a reddish hue. Initial aroma of alcohol-soaked roasted nuts. Feels quite unrefined and solventy on the nose, actually. Hints of brown sugar and peppery dark malts. Taste is sweet malty, bordering on harsh. Moderately roasted with a sourish tone. Notes of wood and licorice. Alcohol is noticable. Mid-bodied. Sharp, light astringent mouthfeel. Sourish and peppery malt finish. Goes well down, but a bit edgy and unrefined. Will probably improve with cellaring. ekstedt (6977) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2010
Bottle (50 cl) from Bierkompass.de. I love the label of this beer. Otherwise, it was not that exciting. Weak belgian character, some malitiness with a roasted touch. Dry with boring salty bitterness. Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 24, 2011
Bottled 50cl. Buttery aroma which is reminiscent of dried fruit, plums, banana and candy sugar. Full bodied. Buttery taste too. I was quite dissapointed by this Abt.
