COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale Hops unite the best from the American and British traditions in ale brewing. With a complex malt profile and a solid foundation of floor malted Maris Otter barley malt, this beer is intensely spiced with some of the most expressive American hops.

Light amber in color with a pungent aroma of grape fruit, hay and oranges leading to a smooth palate with light breadiness and slight sweetness balancing the hops bitterness, which lingers in the back of the mouth.

Ingredients: Maris Otter Pale malt, Wheat malt, German and British caramel malt, Belgian Special B dark caramel malt, Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe and Chinook hops. American yeast. 40 IBU.

Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 19, 2013
On tap @ Schouskjelleren. This is a light blurry golden one and it had a heavy lacing and somewhat lasting small off-white head. Lovely fruity and sweet nose. This is the hop mixture that im really in to. Fresh peachy-sweet with lots of citrus and some frozen strawberries. Not as fresh and tasty on the taste however, as it’s more earthy and a tad to old-bitter to be really lightdrinkable. It has a nice light oily mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. Watermelon syrup with traces of grapefruit zest and bitter pomelo. It’s hurting my tongue in a way. Strange, as I can’t remember a beer doing that before. A little bit of cucumber and really butter nuts-gone-bad in the slightly yeasty finish. Finally a beer from Beer here I’m not utterly in love with! Woohoo! 24.05.2013
