Draught. Dark brown colour. Restrained aroma, but hops show up after a little while. Chocolate and caramel notes. Odd, but still very nice.

Draught at Fairbar, Århus
Cloudy golden color; creamy head. Nice fruity aroma, with some mango and apricots. Although the mouthfeel is smooth, compared to what was expected the body is slimmer; there is some dry toffee flavor, but completely overwhelmed by a very aggressive hopping, resiny and almost minty.
This is quite mouth-lacerating, it doesn’t look for balance or grace.

On tap at Plan B. An uclear, brown to copper colored body is topped by a dense, finger-thick, beige head. Lacings. Citrus peel, pinecones, caramel maltyness and even more hoppy scents in the aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side, with a bitterness trying to balance it. Hints of licorice. Bitter, resiny and piney. Full-bodied and smooth on the palate, finishing bitter and with something reminiscent of strawberry. Strange... Overall, a bit on the sweet side, but tasteful and nice anyway. 110527
