Bottle. Pours a blackish color, with red and brown notes and a frothy mocha colored head. Aroma is mostly of smoke, with notes of smoked meat, bacon, campfire, roasted malts and coffee. The flavor is of roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, smoke in the way of smoked meat, bacon, smoked sausage, campfire and I also get a faint trace of hops. The body is medium with a smooth mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice smoked Porter. ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 11, 2011
On tap, shared with Yngwie and Gunnfryd @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Pours a deep ruby-hued near-black brown body with a small white top. Nose gives me smoked malts, wort, cereals and hints of chocolate. Taste veers more into tar, more worts, burnt sugar and hints of peat. An OK rauch, but nothing special. Plovmand (8301) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2011
Bottle. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. The aroma is coffee, chocolate, smoke, toasted caramel and light ash. The flavour is decent smoked with notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and some dark fruit. Long smoked finish. KingCecil (2084) - DENMARK - JUN 8, 2011
Fra flaske, dufter dejlig af bacon, lidt lakrids. Super flot sort med højt lyse brunt skum.... Smager super godt af bacon, bål!? :) lakrids med en dejlig chokolade eftersmag ! Rigtig dejlig ! Takker Plovmand! ;) Dazz3 (1798) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - JUN 8, 2011

Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Dark amber, beige head. Dry cocoa aroma, chocolate, licorice. Licorice flavor, hops, ash, chocolate, tar. Good but maybe a bit thin. Palme (4807) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2011
Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011 from tap. Pours a deep deep ruby body with a light creamy off-white head. Aroma is strong and smoky with notes of beef-stock, roasted malts and some dark chocolate. Average to softly carbonation and has a nice and oily texture. It’s not that smoky in the taste as it was in the aroma. Notes of cocoa and hops, and there is a mild bitter aftertaste with some chocolate and caramel. It’s good, quite good actually! More roast than smoke in this dark brew with a good tan head. Slight caramel sweet soft watery taste. Prefer more bitteness. anders37 (26589) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2011
