I always admire the artwork on the lables of the beers I drink. Normally its pretty good stuff the brewers do out there. What should be a tribute to two countries This one though is ending up with beeing an unnecessary provocation. It succeeds in insulting both the germans and the belgians - thats pretty uncool. On to the liquid stuff - beer here normally dilivers some nice stuff. This one pours a hazy light yellow with a pure white head, that fades a bit. The nose is pretty fresh and you clearly gets the impressions from the wheat. In the description in says that it bares hint of banana, and I would defenately agree. The banana dominates the aroma with other citric notes and some pepper. The palate is pretty watery with a finish that has a lot to wish for. It dimply disappears completely. At first there is a light bitterness with aome hints og oranges, banana an sulphur - Not really good. There are alot of better beer heres out there - go for them.

Sold as Vår Wit. Hazy orange beer that creates a huge white fluffy head when poured, but it settles to almost nothing. It’s pretty much like german hefe with wit spicing. Banana and clove are there along with coriander and orange peel. Missing that typical wheaty, doughy aroma though. Rather thin by the end. Interesting mix of styles, but it looses some of the quality of the separate styles.

Bottle. Pale yellow, white frothy head..Aroma of lemon, orange peel, sugary mat, grapes, sweet berries, yeast, corriander, candy and caramel. Taste is very fresh with yeast, orange, sugar, spices, some faint hoppy freshness as well. Also candy and caramel and even some banana. High carbonation carries the taste through nicely.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget, served in snifter. 1" white head that reduces to 2 mm. Cloudy honey-colored body. Nose: yeast, banana foam, overripe banana, coriander, danish and wheat. Taste: Banana foam, coriander, yeast and wheat. On the plus-side.

Pours hazy orange with a medium sized long lasting head. Oranges and banana in aroma along with some other berries. Spicy fruity in flavor with a dry bitter finish.

As Vårwit. Got it from a friend last summer. The smell reminds me much of cannabis and the taste as well, wonderful.

An interesting beer. The aroma is nice and the taste is more bitter than usual for weissbeers. The palate and the aftertaste disappoint however. The taste vanish quickly and creates a watery impact. I like the idea behind this beer, but the taste should have some more "uomph".

Bottle as Vårwit. Aroma: Fenolic, smoke, sweet, vegetables. Unbalanced taste, umami. Nice appearance. A bit too dark? High Co2, light bodied. Not a great wit.

This isn’t bad, but nothing I would recommend. Taste and aroma are okay for the style. [short review due to it coming from my backlog]

From tap at Taphouse. Very nice nose, almost buttery or honey. Floral notes and medium sweet taste. Great beer!
