Cloudy dark yellow with a big white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, fruity light yeasty, citrus and coriander. Flavor is medium sweet. Dry and light citric finish. Not as sweet as the Germans and not as citrussy as the Belgians. Works for me. 020511 fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 12, 2009

Hazy golden color. Some aroma of coriander and vegetables. Weak body, some caramel flavor and too much vegetables. Bad.

Cloudy blond color. The aroma has some wheat, sweetish, and light fruits, light banana. The mouthfeel is quite dry, without a specific flavor, with some added spices, a bit peppery, and more bitter than a common wheat beer. In the final there is still a hint of banana, appreciated. Not bad but not interesting either.
Sample at CPH beerfestival. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is hazy milky golden. Aroma and taste are rich banana, yeast, wheat malt and fruits. Oily palate. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 16, 2011
Bottle. Somewhat hazy pale golden color, ok white head. Banana aroma, bread, coriander, fruits, wheat. Spicy metallic flavor, some banana, but more on the hoppy side. Bitter, spicy metallic finish. chrisv10 (18495) - DENMARK - JUN 18, 2009

Hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head ... quite Hoegaardish. Banana and bubblegum in the nose with very evident coriander aroma. Crisp, citrus-limey. Orange peels, coriander and bubblegum. Lime and coriander in the aftertaste. Reasonably refreshing summer brew, but not very complex. This is much more Belgian than German. Bottled 33cl as "Vårwit"
Pikkulintu. Hazy orange color, small white head. Bubblegummy and spicey aroma. Light body. Bubblegum and banana in the flavor plus quite bitter hoppy/spiceyness. Good German/Belgian mix. (7/3/7/3/13 3.3)
Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a white head. Orange, banana and lemon in the aroma, with spicy notes and a wheaty touch. The wheat is left in the background in the flavor too, with the orange, banana and lemon doing most of the job, slightly supported by spiced notes. Dry, medium body, and a dry, bitter finish hiding most of the spices. Some notes of white sugar blends in. A quenching and well-tasting beer. Pale hazy orange, small tight head. Initially citrussy, then wheaty and yeasty aroma. Finally, bananaey and very perfumey. Lively carbonation, slightly watery palate, but refreshing. Really is about half way between wit and a hefe. Unfortunately that means it’s lacking the body of a good hefe and the crispness of a good wit. Despite that, it’s a tasty summer brew, with a decent range to its flavours, even if there’s nothing new. (6:4:6:3:12=3.1)
Rerate: 330ml bottle (K Market, Kamppi) as Vaarwit - wtf - stop doing dodgy rebadges! That’s put me in a bad mood when drinking this, as I wouldn’t splash out Scandinavian beer prices for such a mediocre brew voluntarily. Aroma was duller, flavour was duller, palate was a little fuller, and overall I’m a little less impressed. (5+:4:5+:3+:10). Brewdog seem to have spoilt this one.
50cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy pale yellow color, medium sized white to off-white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell wheat, soapy, lightl banana. Taste wheat, again some banana flavors, sweetish, pear. Low to medium body, medium carbo.
