Deep black beer with a minimal dark beige head. Very nice and sweet and thick aroma. Oily body. Nice roasted and bitter flavor. Also quite sweet and sour. A very nice imperial stout.

Bottle from Alko, Helsinki Pours thick tar-like black with small brown sticky head. Roasted malts and rye dominate the aroma, with nuts, chocolate, salty licorice and even a hint of smoke on the background. Taste is exactly in line with the aroma, strong amount of alcohol (10%) blends in seamlessly. Fair amount of hoppiness balances it all perfectly. Low carbonation, rich oily full mouthfeel and medium hoppy finish. The best imperial stout I’ve rated so far!

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Dark brown, minimal head. Rich tarry licorice aroma with caramel. Mid dry with medium-full body. Peppery fudge, tar and salmiak. Rich, yet surprisingly slender and elegant. Black pepper heat in a long bitter finish. Elegant.

Nicely organic, malty IS with bit boozy, unbalanced nuances. Bit bitter coffee and some hops. Medium body is too light for this percentage.

Musta olut kohtalaisella, pitsiä jättävällä beigellä vaahdolla. Näyttää hyvältä Rochefortin nimikkolasista. Tuoksussa suklaata, maitoista kahvia ja jonkinasteista tummaa hedelmäisyyttä, ehkä luumua. Maku paahteisen maltainen, lakritsainen, suklainen ja loppupuolelta humaloidun katkera ja suolainen. Hiilihappoja hyvin vähäisesti, pehmeä, mutta täyteläinen suutuntuma. Suupielet sokeriseksi saava todella laadukas olut ja parasta kotimaisessa olutskenessä aikoihin!

Bottled (from Alko). Pitch black colour, brown head. Aroma is liquorice, and some alcohol with mild ripe fruits, and some mild toasted notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some ripe fruits, alcohol as well as mild liquorice. Gets better when it gets closer to room temperature (a.k.a. smoothens out).

W aromacie czekolada, lekki likier, kawa, pełno, może jednowymiarowo, ale przyjemnie. W smaku ponownie dominuje czekolada, niskie nasycenie, porządne ciało i kremowa tekstura, alkohol świetnie ukryty. Bardzo klasyczny, nieprzegięty imperial.
