[email protected] Golden colour, mediumsized white thick head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, wooden, a bit grainy with some saltwatery notes as well. Flavour is fruity, grassy, herbal and some mild toffeeish and toasted notes. Pleasant and refreshing pils!

As "St. Urho’s Pub Presidenttiolut Kyösti Kallio"
[email protected] Urho’s Pub.Clear golden color, goood white head. Aroma of wet grass and hay. Hints of spiceyness. Medium-bodied. Very malty pils, grassy-spicey hoppyness is decent. Very German, maybe more on Northern than Southern. Wellmade pils. (6/2/7/3/13 3.1)
Re-rate as "Mufloni Pilsner"
[email protected] Golden color, small white head, maybe a bit hazy. Hayish hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Hayish, German type bitterness. Quite Bavarian. Ok. (6/2/6/3/12 2.9)

UPDATED: APR 24, 2013 Tap (St. Urho’s, Helsinki) (5:3:6:4:13=3.1)
Gentle grainy aroma. Slightly unclear straw, peristent head. Lots of bready grains in the taste, herbal husks, a little bit floral. Nice bitter finish, almost resiny, almost metallic, but just staying shy of astringent. Floral and herbal bready retronasals. Quite full palate, but crisp carbination. Finish is quite long. Nice unfiltered pilsner, good level of hops, and nice almost milky fullness. This could be one of the steps on the way from pale lager to ale for people too shy to take the plunge.
Rerate: Tap (HBF2013, Friday) (7:3:7:4:13=3.4)
Smells like a good unfiltered lager, lots of milky milky grains. Super bready milky grains. Nice gentle dry hops. So amazingly drinkable - full, but with pleasant carbonation. Excellent pils!

500ml bottle kindly shard by djoeye. Film-type layer over a hazy golden body. Fair lacing. Lightly perfumed grassy hops on the nose. Spiced fruity taste with a backdrop citrus towards the ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Oktoberfest, Pivoteka H7, Tromsø 26.10.2017).

Cloudy golden colour with a small white head. Grainy malt, cheese and something quite industrial in the aroma. Grainy malt and mild hops in the flavour. Balanced. Rather tasty.

Draught @ HBF
Aroma is quite light with some grassy notes and hints of fruits. Flavour has grass, some fruits and hints of hay. Quite close to Kyösti Kallio Presidenttiolut, but this one has more harsh palate. Also probably slightly more grass and less fruits.

mjs (7675) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 10, 2013
(Draught at St. Urho’s Pub, 20130410) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, herbalness and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, grain and quite clean bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A fruity nice pils even though not stylewise clean.
