EerieDrinks (355) - Malm, SWEDEN - DEC 2, 2017
2 finger off-white head. Murky, dark ruby coloured beer.

Aroma is overripe, dried plums, candied apple, dishcloth, dates, minty pine and overall citrus.

Taste is dark green herbs, green pepper, dried apricot, black pepper, slight charred oak and slightly WC hoppy at the back. Sounds weird but actually good!

Mouthfeel is semi-thick with a very high bitterness that almost has a chili burn at the back. Low carbonation. Quite sticky but could use more of that. Semi-dry.

Overall: Pretty weird brew that honestly is quite pleasant to drink! Complex BW but with notes that maybe don't fully belong in this style. I love me a crushing bitterness but I like my BWs smooth and rich so that wasn't a total winner. Charming and good, nevertheless.

Nische (2661) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 22, 2017
Bottle from B. Hazy, murky brown color, with beige head. Oily, sweet sticky toffee, with wood and resinous hops.

Pedro_Pinho (242) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 31, 2016
Pours dark amber with a off-white creamy head. Aroma is slightly metallic, but fresh. Nice carbonation and body. Taste resembles an american barley wine, but ends up with a slightly too bitter finish.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some slight raisins, alcohol, mild toffee and some hops as well. Flavour is fruity, alcoholic, wooden and rather strong floral hoppiness as well as some gluelike sweetness. Wellbalanced and rather big kicking hops to it.

TBone (18552) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 9, 2016
Bottled (Systembolaget Umeå)
Hazy, murky brown color, firm brownish head. Sweet, malty, very hoppy, hop oily aroma. Full-bodied. Malty sticky, toffeish, woody, very hoppy, hop oily. Certainly crossover of UK and US. Interesting.

On tap at Akkurat, Stockholm, Friday 18th November 2016 Amber n colour with a small off-white head. Fruity but also caramel and with an oily thickness in the mouth. Warming from the alcohol, though drinks quite well for the abv, it’s got a good hoppy kick and bitter edge to stamp down that sweetness. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Turtles (3088) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2016
