Pigskin Pale Ale is light in color yet high in malt and hop character. Crisp and clean like a well-executed touchdown pass, Pigskin Pale Ale finishes off with an end zone celebration of zesty, floral hops that says 6 points, American Style.

22oz bottle. Poured an amber color with a large sized off white head. Toasted stale bread, stale hops, and blah with some more blah.

huge lacing for a APA.. slightly hazy lite golden brew... surprising... lacing dries to a crusty bubble mess. :) American C’s hops are front of the aroma... citrus and piney.. pretty warm at this point.. only a trace of malt aroma. Good bitterness is braced by a balanced caramel sweetness... pine and citrus rind are known very well mid palate.. Lingering toasted malts and a touch of gun metal. Lower than expected body that does not diminish the overall quality.

Poured into pub pint glass. Pours cloudy golden with little head. Okay lace. Smell and taste of light hops

Bottle from BevMo, Arden. The initial pour was all foam. Once it subsided, I discovered a cloudy pale color with a bready aroma. There is a thin pale malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish.

"pretty clean. maybe a little heavier in body and malt content than i prefer in an apa, but it’s well put together. sweet malt and spicy hops in about equal share."

Bottle shared with wyzzywyz22 at his house on the epic two man tasting day. Lovely weather, good bbq, good music, nice greenery. Good times. Copper gold with an almost white medium head. Aroma of malts and a little spice. Flavour is more malts and caramel, good malt flavours. Not bad.

Botella de 66 cl en el lúpulo, septiembre de 2013. una pale ale bastante ligera, con 6 vol y sabores lupulados finales frescos y mas o menos duraderos. Bien

Bottled: unk Dusky amber with a persistent finger of light toasted cream foam. Smells faintly of amber malts and english hops. Tea character. Flavor is cardboard oxidation and some sweet malt. Some muted bitterness. Pretty severer oxidation. Medium bodied with moderate carb and off dry finish. I feel like this one is old, but it’s hard to tell sans date system.... Serving type: bottle 06-22-2012

Bottle, De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Flavour and nose was caramel malts, citrus hop and a touch of wood. Some building bitterness. Lacking any real complexity but a solid offering overall.

At first I didn’t enjoy the flavor, but after I got double digit ounces into the beer, it really was rather good.
