COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hop lover’s delight, this American India Pale Ale is brewed with over 1.5 lbs. of hops per barrel. As with all IPAs, this beer is higher in alcohol, hop aroma and bitterness than regular pale ales, and you don’t have to sail to India to enjoy it.

Tap @ the Fenway location. Good grapefruit hop with a malty background in the aroma. Reminders me of a good English Pale Ale in aroma. Hazy amber color. Small stable white head. Flavor is malt and grapefruit hops. Very well balanced. Real clean, crisp bitterness. Great drinkability. Out of the three beers I had on this day, this was clearly the best one.

Pretty tasty. Random find while walking the streets of Salem doing tourist shit. Strong anise hop flavor. Crisp, refreshing.

Clear golden pour with a thick tight head. The nose is fruity with a kiss of light spicy. EKG and cascades on the top (which seem to actually work together). Very clean with a nice soft malt/hop balance. Peppery and chewy. Lightly resinous - it’s a decent simple IPA.

This is the second beer enjoyed at the Logan Airport Boston Beer Works. The IPA was better than the APA. The head was bigger and frothy white. The color was clear and golden in appearance. The higher alcohol was noticed. The hops flavors of citrus were present with lemon and orange. Smooth finish with some bitterness.

on tap at the brewpub, pours light amber, thin off white head. Aroma is strong citrus and pine hops. Flavor is metallic, kind of off bread malt flavor with a strong pine hop finish that is very dry.

On tap at Boston Beer Works - Logan Airport. Pours a clear golden-copper color with an average white head. Aroma is pretty nice and hoppy. Grassy and floral with a little citrus and some pilsner malt to back it up. Flavor is pale malt along with a nice hop profile, with grapefruit and grass standing out. Good bitterness level and not too sweet. Great palate, medium-bodied and crisp with fairly lively carbonation. A surprisingly good IPA from a brewery I’d never heard of before going there.

Went to the brewpub after bosox/la game with clients. Nice ipa, full bodied with a solid malty base. Better than I expected.
