A clear yyellow pout with a small white head and lively carbonation in the body. The aroma is tart blueberry skins, banana, wheat grain, and clove like dough. The flavor is grassy vegetation and pronounced blueberry notes that culminate with some cereal wheat grains and more clove. The palate is very thin, highly effervescent, and finishes very clean. On tap at the Fenway location after a ballgame. Pour is hazy orangish amber plus they throw in a dozen or so blueberries which bob around with the carbonation. Medium bodied, natural bluebery taste.. Not overly sweet. thornecb (5909) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 25, 2010
Pours light gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly crackles and recedes to skim surface. Blueberry muffin aromas. Thin upfront with sweet malts turning to rotting blueberry in the lasting bitter finish. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle. Pours a golden body with a little white head. There are definite blueberries in the aroma, almost a bit jammy with a subtle juniper tone as well. Spicy spritzy with some berries, twig, and sap notes and a mild piney sappy finish thats drying spicy and almost domineering. An interesting beer, while having an ultra light body the finish hangs around in a nice way. smcolw (617) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 26, 2010
Pours with a mild haze to an otherwise straw colored beer. Not much head and it dies to a thin rim of bubbles along the glass. Almost no lace
Slightly sour smell with some definitive blueberry aroma. Little else to the nose.
More sourness on the tongue. I also detect biting ginger. It has the body of a pilsner with a corresponding crispness. This is flavorful but not that special.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellowish tan body with blueberries floating around and a small white head. Aroma of grain, blueberries, cookie dough, and some citrus. Flavor of grain, grass, and light blueberries. PilsnerPeter (3045) - Flushing, New York, USA - OCT 22, 2009
Tap at the Salem Location: Garnished with blueberries... Thanks? Pours an effervescent lightly hazy golden with a white thin lacing head. Perfumy blueberry aroma, yet it seems like a natural fruit presence with a mild pale malt back. Light crisp body with a very mild flavor. Mild pale malt sweetness provides a light body- not much residual sugars with a touch of, again perfumy blueberry. Well attenuated with no major off flavors- just a typical light ale with fruit added. A one dimensional session. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2009
On tap during the annual Boston/Salem/Marble head tour. Tasted at Salem. Straw pour with 1 finger white head. Obviously there was a strong blueberry aroma as the glass was actually filled with a ton of little blue berries. A bready finish and quite interesting. jrob21 (3686) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2009
On tap at Fenway location. Points for frivolity with the floating blueberries that dance with the carbonation. Nice touch. Wild floral aroma. Nice fresh fruit flavor and a mild bitterness gives this some balance. Enjoyed the rawness of this much better than a blueberry syrupy kind of brew. alobar (3782) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2009
The first blueberry ale I ever had. Clear yellow color darkened with purple and dark blue hues with blueberries floating through the beer. Foamy white head. Sweet blueberry aroma. On the palate is wheat, with some hop bitterness sweetened by the blueberries. This beer comes with a snack at the bottom of the glass.
