Not a bad beer. On tap at the restaurant across from Fenway. Smooth, nice color. Nice grassy taste, buttery finish. Go Yankees! duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2005

Works, Boston, Ma. Pretty OK, floral cascade, pine, citrus, grapefruit. Light and failry respectable., tasty.
Clear golden color with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit. Flavor of grapefruit and malt. Medium body with soft carbonation, watery texture. ericnixon (746) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 6, 2005

Pours amber with not much of a head. Taste is kind of simple and weak. Malty with less hops than anticipated. Not the best Beer Works offering. dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 12, 2004

Copper with a small white head.Fruity aroma, with a slight touch of raosted/toasted malt.Malty/bready flavor with some spicy hop charcater and a lingering hop finish.
This beer holds its own. Bold, but not too distinctive. In general, a more drinkable alternative to the Back Bay IPA, though not as strong. A solid round, all the same. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - FEB 10, 2004
Draft. Nice hop flavor and nicely balanced. It's nothing outstanding, but easy to drink tomxcs (321) - California, USA - JAN 19, 2004
From a bomber. Copperish, with a rather thin head. Didn't get very much through the nose, although what was there was decent (it could have been from the atmosphere around me). Fruity, but not too much so. A little malty, a little more hoppy. Finished mildly with light lingering hop flavors.
