Beautiful pour - thick creamy white head atop a hazy golden brew. Aroma is malty, with a hint of flowery hops in the back. Flavor starts sweet, malty, small fruitiness, follows with a good mild hop ending which brings it all together. rcweir (139) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 3, 2008

Clear orange to copper red beer, creamy off-white head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: sweet peaches, some citrus. MF: light carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, citrus, peaches, some pineapple, apple skin. Aftertaste: gentle bitter, still fruity, dry ending.
Cask at the brewpub. poured a clear medium orange color with an off white head. Well balanced aromas of malty caramel and citrusy hops. Medium bodied and slightly sweet with lowish carbonation from the cask. There was mild to moderate bitterness and the flavor profile included the likes of flower blossom, citrus fruits (lemon, orange), and caramel. Nice, especially from the cask.

Cask at the Fenway location. Pours a cloudy orange with a sliver of white head. Aroma of grassy, citrusy hops. Flavor is also very hop forward with hop resins and caramel malt. Actually quite a tasty hoppy cask ale. I’d recommend it!

Cask at Canal St, dry-hopped with Centennial. Cloudy golden amber color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma of grass and pine. Taste is floral citrus, straw, raw bread dough. Nice. uglybastard (101) - Riverside, California, USA - JUL 13, 2002
Thin head with a dark, reddish-brown body. Earthy-hoppy nose with a bit of maple syrup smell as well. Has a tree-bark and coffee flavor to it. Slightly spicy. Very interesting flavor and color for a pale ale.

A bit darker then expected of a pale. Malt sweetness in the nose, with a malt and raisen mouthfeel. Mellow hop bitterness and a fairly chewy consistancy. Nice flavorful version of a european pale ale. Was a bit sharp even being from a cask. cfranz (261) - Acton, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 15, 2005
Not a bad beer. On tap at the restaurant across from Fenway. Smooth, nice color. Nice grassy taste, buttery finish. Go Yankees!
