Clear medium to dark red brown colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy cherry, sour - tart cherry, wood, light vinegar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart cherry, wood, caramel, plum - berry, smooth. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. 
Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours hazy brown with a weak head. Plenty of moderate, tart cherries in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some cherry pit bitterness, faint leather, somewhat juicy. GBBF. Hazy red-amber beer, no real head. Light palate, a little dry and slightly crisp. Mild sourness with seltzer minerals and a touch of strawberry sherbet. Interesting! Finishes semi dry with mild citrus fruit. Different!

Murky red brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart and sour wood with mild cherries and some mild earthy notes. Flavour is sour and tart wood, cherries, nice maltyness as well as some fruits. Balanced and nice sour ale.
Cask at GBBF 2012. It pours murky deep red-brown, with no head. The nose is light malt vinegar, dark fruit, red berry and sour cherry. The taste is sour cherry, sherbet, tart lemon, juicy fruit and some jam, with a juicy-tart finish. Light-medium body, low carbonation and mild sourness. Cask @ GBBF ’12. Pours deep brown with no head. The nose is strong concentrated cherry, cinnamon. Some sweaty blanket. The taste is sugary jam donut, cinnamon, cherry compote. Slightly meaty. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, very nice and drinkable.
