3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle picked up at Jolly Pumpkin in Ann Arbor, MI. Pours a cloudy, orange-amber colored body with a big, frothy, three finger-width, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a good amount of lacing throughout. Aroma is moderate orange florals and a light grapefruit pine. Some grainy malts with a light caramel sweetness offer a solid balance. Flavor is similar. Thinner citrus up front with some florals and a light pine. Malts balance in the middle with a lighter carmel and some grains. Up front flavor goes somewhat quickly before this starts to dry and some grass and dry hay finish this off. Dry with some citrus and a light, earthy and grassy bitterness along with a touch of pale malt sweetness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a light, smooth body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a very easy drinking, lower ABV% IPA. Nothing special, but enjoyable enough.
Really off putting as a whole. Probably why I found a case for 12.50 thank goodness thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2016
This canned brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy with a frothy top fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated transparent orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was floral musty and malt hop. The bubbly crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special. nimbleprop (9059) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 23, 2016
On tap at Jolly Pumpkin in Detroit pours a clear dark gold with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose is zippy with hop, grass, pine, citrus zest, lightly floral too. Flavor has just a hint of grist, lemon, lime, grass, straw, mild pine. Finishes dry and bitter. Crushable. Very well done. hotstuff (5301) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 28, 2016
Rated on 3-28-2016 (Bottle) The appearance is a medium sized off-white head that mostly diminished, transparent golden body, fast rising carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma citrus hops, grassy, floral, grapefruit, and grainy. The flavor presents much bitterness, citrus hops, some pine hops, earthy, some grapefruit, and a bit grainy. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, a quaffable session beer that is quite bitter tasting and hence has a lingering bitter aftertaste. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 26, 2016

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate grapefruit, citrus, and a hint of caramel. It’s a mostly transparent amber with a touch of haze and a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of light toasted caramel. The finish has moderate grapefruit, faint lemon, and a touch of grass. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - MAY 24, 2015
