Color covers. White foam, creamy and persistent. An aromatic and bitter beer created by British brewers to withstand the trip to India, which would quench the thirst of the troops of His Majesty. A piece of history in the bottle!

Bottle. Pours hazy deep amber with a large creamy beige head that dissipates slowly and laces well. Aroma is malty, breath, nutty, hints of grass. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, apple tartness, lots of acidity. Lightish body, high carbonation. Lingering bitterness. Definitely a British IPA in style, and not a good one

Hazy amber pour with a thick creamy white head. The nose is quite hoppy. There's a ton of grassiness and a little bit of pine as well. Has a little bit of soft maltiness that balances the character of the hops. Has a little bit of pepper and some nice earthy/woodsy flsvour. Sort of a bitter/IPA cross

330ml bottle. Gusher. Hazy chesnut color. Ultra massive yellow head, stays forever. Citrus, husky, grainy, sweet in aroma. Sweet, citrus, malty and bready in taste. Citrus and husky in aftertaste. Fizzy carbonation. I can't find BB, but my guts say it's over. Feels old. Happens.

adamnowek (3705) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 5, 2017
Slightly opaque copper colour. Thin, somewhat sticky head. Aroma is mostly grass. Taste is grassy in character with a very tiny hint of tropical fruit in the background. Quite bitter.

elbernays (1752) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 2, 2017
Bottle from lançarote off licence Lagos Portugal. Pours copper with white foam head. Nettles, pepper, slightly citrus, floral, pine on nose. Flavour is understated sweet with a vegetal, bitter finish. Quite odd. Oily mouthfeel. Medium body. Metallic aftertaste.

cagou007 (1277) - FRANCE - MAR 24, 2017
On tap in Cervejaria, Porto-- Pours hazy amber with thin white head. Nose is tropical fruits. Aromas are hay, herbal hops. Medium carbonation, light body. Long very bitter finish with a weird metallic aftertaste. Unbalanced, with a harsh and dry bitterness, no body. Really unpleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours hazy dark amber with a huge, off-white head. Hoppy, yeasty and somewhat fruity aroma with caramel, citrus and pine. Moderate to medium sweet with somewhat messy hoppy and yeasty flavours and an almost harsh bitterness. Fairly drinkable, but not to impressive.

330ml bottle (Sip, Tallinn)
Caramelly malts and pungent hops aroma, a touch of a sour hint too, a bit rough. Hazy to murky amber, depending on the pour. Crazy huge head, hard to pour. Murkier pour is very soapy, just like the amber, even has that sour harshness. Hazy pour is less messy, but that was less than half the bottle. Full palate, would be sweet and slick, but the carbonation is high. Finish is bitter. Bit of a fuckup of an IPA, to be honest, they’re trying too hard for bigger bolder flavours before they’ve mastered nice flavours.

The best portuguese IPA! Aromas, floral, fruity nature. Taste, hop bitterness. Palate slightly bitter.
