3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
1pt 9.4 oz bottle: seriously this thing just exploded everywhere. I am absolutely drenched in beer right now...Holy crap. This thing isn’t a gusher it’s a fricken atom bomb going off all over your counter, your shirt, your jeans, your refrigerator, and anything else within a 20 yard radius. My god. It’s like I opened up a bottle of champagne or something. After bathing in artisan brew for about 3 minutes, I actually can pour the damn beer into my tulip glass. I almost lost half the bottle on that nuclear blast of a gusher. I seriously think that I got beer on my ceiling...yep beer on the ceiling, Aroma is of apples lightly hoppy, a very nice citrus overtone, and rather tart in aroma. Pours a cloudy orange/golden color with a large sized fluffy head that lingers of forever. Taste is slightly sour apple notes, citrus, yeast, and a light hop note. Palate is lively and very well carbonated. Overall, After bathing in their brew, imbibing it is enjoyable. I just wish I didn’t waste a half bottle soaking myself.
Damn, should read other reviews before, and not after opening beers. Another big volcano all-over, so "open over sink", even if not moving the bottle at all. Other than that, the rest seems like a real good brew (so sad to lose a bit of it). Gets hazy at last pour, golden-orange, off-white cap and some creamy lace. Brett nose with the funk aromas, mild sweet Belgian Ale yeast (or sugars) and apple notes. Same for taste with the earthiness, tartiness. Decent grass for the style. Everything is very well-balanced and the alcohol is nicely hidden. bpar73 (1186) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - NOV 26, 2017
On tap at the Old Mission pub. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Spice, Belgian malt, pepper and light hoppyness in the aroma and taste. rejtable (2847) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2017
Bottle from LCBO. Pours clear golden lots of foamy head and minimal lacing. Nose is floral and barnyard. Flavours of oak, apples, funky, white wine. Taste med/light bitter, light sweet, light/med tart. Full sticky body lively carbonation and lasting dry tart finish. ccex (1370) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2017
Pours a hazy peach color with moderate off-white head that coats the glass with lacing. Aroma is tart and spicy with sour pears, green apples, lemon, brett, and pepper. Taste is sour with a dry finish. Body is medium with lively carbonation and a zesty mouthfeel. If I had to classify it, I'd call it a farmhouse ale instead of a Belgian, but it is a winner from Jolly Pumpkin. L_Lovecraft (744) - - OCT 16, 2017
Good nose, floral, a bit of cellar and stronk okie notes, golden with a good white head, medium body, average carbonation, bitter and sour notes, wood....quite good.

Bomber from LCBO. A unfortunate start! 10% - 15% jumped out of the bottle as soon as the cap came off. Not impressed! A quiet pour with active carbonation and ametras (1747) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 11, 2017
an aroma of citrus, spice, and hard fruit. The beer has a hazy gold colour with a rich white head and good lace. The start is malty smooth with brett, earthy tones, and fruit notes expanding into the middle. Long finish with yeast and peppery notes blending at the very end. Good but a messy cleanup.
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2017 750ml bottle. Hazy golden yellow with a foamy white head. Flavors are bread, lemon zest, pear, stone fruits, spices and alcohol with floral and grainy notes. Medium body, moderate to good carbonation, smooth texture. Spab (4124) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 19, 2017
750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden peach colour with good-sized white head. Aroma is citrus and tree fruits, grains, spice and light earthiness. Flavour has lots of modestly tart lemon, apple and pear, clove, white pepper, graininess and mellow earthy character. Fine carbonation. Quite nice. Frothmeister (834) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2017
750ml bottle. Cap off, this yeast is alive. Always remember, yeast is alive. As soon as the air hit it, it reached for the sky. Wow. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a three white cap. Aroma is fermented cider (the real stuff), very faint malt vinegar, a combination of caramelized sugar, yeast, and apple that makes me think "apple fritter", some definite "brett" notes, but to me, really heavy on the apple notes. Wow. Sour, with acidic fruit notes, tart cherry, summer apples, plum, into more tartness, calvados, brett notes, yeast, and a finish that is all unripe fruit with some minerality. I’m impressed, it reminds me of Orval, but minus the "barnyard" that I have difficulty getting past. Two more in the cellar. Looking forward to seeing how they age! cattaneopapa (428) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2017
750ml bottle from LCBO. Pours an opaque golden colour with half of finger of white head. Aromas of citrus, apples, and a hint of honey. Taste matches the aroma with a spicy finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. It’s more comparable to a farmhouse ale than Belgian strong ale.
