A - Pours a golden apple juice color with a milky white head that paints a micro thin ocean of bubbles. Some lacing left behind.
S - Very woody, lemon and orange citrus zest, tart lactic acid, grapes, pomegranate, Granny Smith apples, peppery spice, tart banana comes through as it warms.
T - Tart orange candy, reminds me of an old sweet tart candy. Bright lemon citrus shines over the musty church pew yeast in the background, but creates very nice balance. Lots of fruit - lemon, pear, apple, muted grapes, a mix of banana and pineapple. Freshly cut wood, flowers, acidic, lemongrass, vague vanilla. Finishes with a clean tartness.
M - Light to medium body, zesty and refreshing, silky smooth feel, dry finish.
The high points of this beer is balance. Sweet, tart, woody, yeasty, refreshing. The aroma is bigtime here. Flavor is a little more subtle but very good balance. Highly recommended!

I do think that this one is more of a sour ale than a belgian ale. It is a very good pumpkin ale, part of the LCBO 2017 Summer Beer Program. MatChar (125) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 31, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2018 Bottle. Appearance: clear light yellow golden, nice thick white foam getting into thin laces, low and subtle carbonation. Smell: very subtle brettanomyces, perhaps bread/cereals, very smooth vinegar. Taste: notes of lemon, bread and very smooth funk, nice low sourness and sugar, great texture and feel, medium drinkability. Overall: high quality and awesomely balanced beer, was expecting more complexity, but still highly enjoyable. piraat83 (44) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 27, 2018

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2017 Wow. Pours hazy pure gold with bright white head. Aroma of lime sorbet, pepper, barnyard and of course oak. Very oak forward with a hint of that malt peaking through the wild funk. not over dry but a clean finish. Very interesting. chimpgibbon (583) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2017
Bottle from Clapton Craft. Failed Xmas cellaring attempt here... not upset though as this is sublime. Perfect marriage of the wild yeast character, apple sweetness and subtle oak. Really really top drawer stuff
