2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle. Pours clear golden with a lacy white head. Aroma is metallic, malty, cereal and a bit nutty. Light to moderate bitter and light sweet. Thin mouthfeel. Meh.
UPDATED: APR 16, 2018 Tap. Light grain for the malt, faint herbs and dough for the yeast. Head is average size, frothy, white, with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear light amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and slightly bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery, with a lively carbonation. Another nice drinking Kölsch from Köln. Rubin77 (3122) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 14, 2018
F: big, white, almost good retention.
C: pale gold, clear.
A: malty, bit floral, bready, bit grassy.
T: malty, bready, floral, bit grassy, for me it is not so easy to recognize average pale lager from good Kölsch style beer but this is almost ok, medium body and carbonation, 0,5l can from REWE Getränkemarkt in Aachen, Germany.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before September 2018. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Just a little sweet, moderately bitter, quite grassy-spicy taste of grains and lots of straw, followed by a short, medium bitter, rather grassy-spicy and a bit metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, but tastes pretty much like a (macro) Pils, another reason why I cannot take casual drinkers seriously which pretend they only like Pils but not Kölsch (or vice versa). A fairly regular number. Some sweetness at first, honey perhaps, with hints of citrus and grass, then some well meaning hop bitterness sabotaged by a metal flavour all to typical of beers like this. tmrmwel (2387) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 27, 2018

Bottle. Pours clear, pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is light malts with biscuits and honey, some estery fruits and roses, as well as zesty hops with citrusy lemon. Medium body, with fizzy carbonation. Flavour is fruity estery notes, with hay, apples and rose petals, zesty hops with lemon and malts with biscuits, toffee and honey. Dry bitter finish.
Aroma is a light sulphur, straw and clove. Taste is light malt character with a crisp finish. Quite sessionable. JoTheO (304) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 12, 2018
Bottle 330 ml. Completely clear golden straw, very frothy white head. Aroma of hay and a bit doughy. Taste is a bit zesty and also has some surprising sweet fruits in there together with malty cereals. The bitterness is rather well-balanced but the beer as such is actually a bit boring. OK as a refreshment on a hot day, but then most light beers are... SaintMatty (7744) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAR 12, 2018
