3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper color with a taller head of manila folder colored head. Big barnyard and aged urine scent, perhaps a bit too much so. Light caramel, leather and limburger cheese also in the nose. A bit too funky, even for me. Flavors of caramel and hopsack. Citrus and sweat in the middle. My second bottle, and my memory of the first is certainly different from this one. The first one I thought to be a bit funky and wild. This one I am finding to be overly funky and overly wild. Aged brick brine mixed with a saison. Really complex, but I am not finding it overly enjoyable. Earth and orange in the finish and linger. Interesting, yes, but perhaps too much going on to be enjoyable.
Backlog, bottle, pours a hazy golden color with medium to large head. Notes of acidic fruit, light vinegar, sour malt, and caramel. All over the damn place. Not liking this sour, stick to the lagers and pales victory. Patrickctenchi (6862) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - OCT 11, 2016
Cloudy amber with a frothy beige head.

Bottle. Barnyard yeast, apple, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Cloudy dark amber with giant light tan head. Lightly sweet apple, caramel malt, and moderately bitter dry grass flavor. Mildly lightly funky yeast finish. Nice. Strykzone (7889) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 5, 2016
1 pint 9.4 ounce bottle that was C and Ced. A big fluffy beigeish head. I rolled the bottle resulting in a very cloudy beer. Deep golden brown, like nice tan. Spices are tasted. That includes cinnamon. Earth and caramel. Lots of malts with yeast to match. Not a lot of funk at all and it drinks more like a Belgian Ale. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - APR 22, 2016

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with fluffy head. Aromas of sour fruit, woody notes, and some horseblanket. Flavors of sour grapes, yeast, hay, and some funk. AndyW68 (1672) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - NOV 22, 2015
Clear copper pour with thick off white head. Aroma and taste are yeasty biscuit and citrus. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Bottle shared with dad for Halloween. Snifter pour was golden yellow with big head. Aroma is lemon, grapefruit, funk, horseblanket, biscuit, and wet hay. Taste is similar with the fruit first (citrus) and then the funk, biscuit, and hay. Big carb, finish is dry and unexciting. Not bad. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - OCT 21, 2015
Gusher. Hazy honey with big head. Smells fruity and boozy.Tastes hoppy with a light bitter finish. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Bottle. Pours a dark orange with a high, sticky, heavy, off-white head. Nose is orange, lime, latex, lavender, sage, funk, rosemary, and honey -- there’s a lot going on here. On the tongue, things start off with a surprisingly cool herbal note; it’s almost like camphor or tea tree oil. After that, it gets snarly, funky, and bitter, with some underlying grapefruit and orange caramel notes; I have to say, though, I’m not getting a lot of sourness. Makes me wonder if it’s dropped out somehow. Finish is long and IPA-bitter. I’m just not getting as much wild here as I expected.
