Imperial Oat Stout

Collaborations are an integral part of our brewing philosophy. This time around our friends from Benchwarmers Brewing Co. joined us at our brewery for more than just tea and cookies. This beer is dedicated to our brewery dogs Kilo & Cookie. #nelson

can.
pitch dark, smooth light brown head.
mild roasted malty aroma with notes of coffee, also a toasted smokey note.
Flavor is roasted malts, soaked wood chip boozy bitterness. a very bitter imperial stout, almost as if they had added a little chillies. that matches with the smoked aroma, hmm.. also notes of dark caramel.

Alluring malt aroma in a black pour. Similarly tasty malt body with hints of cocoa and coffee in a milky body with a fresh finish. A tasty drop - very tasty.

Takie 3.9 - faktycznie ciastowe, czekoladowe, kakaowe, i sernikowe, ale ta sernikowosc pod kontrola, zero wrazenia sztucznosci. #teamslodycz

Rami Rami: Moze bardziej murzynkowe niz sernikowe? Kokosowe tez... przemile

A colablack beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has chocolate, coffee, roastiness, sweetness and nuts. Taste has smooth maltyness, chocolate, some roastiness of coffee and bitterness. Full bodied, low carbonation, velvety palate. Good and enjoyable smoothness.

adamnowek (3386) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 5, 2017
Dark brown with a mocha head. Aroma is dough. Taste has chocolate, hazelnut, and cookie dough, but it’s all overpowered by too much alcohol.

330 ml. can shared @ bus ride to VCBF 2017. Dark brown, very deep mocha head, peered into the can & drank from the can. Strongly umami smell with soy sauce sweet, thick dough & hazelnut. Heavily umami taste, umami chocolate, some soy sauce, bread pudding, some odd hazelnut, herbal,... Surprisingly boozy. Oily umami body. Bit too umami, heavy for my liking especially given the name but not a bad beer even if oddly boozy but feels far heavier than 8.6 % ABV.
