33 cl bottle. BBE 20180701. Black beer with a lasting thick off-white head. First aroma is fruit reminiscent of chili, then peat, syrup. Very interesting. First flavour is malt, a hint of fruit again just before peat in the middle and all that is found in the finish is a slight/medium burn at the back of the throat (mileage may vary). Low carbonation as usual, easy to drink. Very peculiar, but surprisingly tasty nevertheless for such contrasting flavours. Bottle @ Blindtasting w Team DØE Køge. Appearance: clear brown with good beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: caramel, bread, coffee, chocolate and light chili. palette: strong roasted malty aroma, medium carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, somewhat balanced by a light to average bitterness, medium to long duration and a watery texture. Overall: well balanced chili ale.

Bottle as Christmas present thanks to s_Hartshorne, cheers Shane. Black beer with small residual head. Aroma of roast malts and light red chilli. Taste is dry chilli, roast malts and coffee. Some heat in the finish. Decent.

Wooly aroma, sheep shit hints, burnt and woody. Black, persistent tan head. Full palate, smooth. Rich roasty body, nice chilli heat, not a real burn, but a clear throb there. Pretty decent.
Mørk brun tåkete med høyt beige skum. Animalsk lukt, lær, kjøtt, noe røkt, trevirke, dadler og noe mørk sjokolade. Tidlig røkt kjøtt i smak, salt lakris og bitterhet mot granskudd. Salt avslutning.
