This easy drinking Pale Ale is perfectly suited for the Swedish spring! Crisp and dry, but equally it’s wet! Glädje!

gnoff (10891) - Göteborg, - MAY 8, 2013
Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on May 7, 2013.
As "Glädje" known from Stearin.
Hazy copper color, big fluffy off-white head. Herbal, bitter, apricot taste. Medium, a bit smooth mouthfeel. Medium bitterness, to the herbal side. Apple, herbal, yeast scent.
Didn’t stand out much for me.

LoFi (1752) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 14, 2013
Bottle. Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: berries, citrus, pine. Taste: woodsy beard oil, citrus, pine and resin, plus some caramel. Medium bodied. Preferred citra bobek, but this works well as a summer ale.

larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2013
Small white head. Hazy yellow body. Resiny tropical fruit aroma with catty mealy lemony notes. Dry-sweet, and faintly acidic, earthy lemony tropical fruit taste with resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy earthy tropical fruit aftetaste with spicy citric lingering finish. It’s OK, but a bit earthy and slack. (0.2l draft at Bishops Arms, Järntorget, Göteborg.)

meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2013
[email protected] Nice hoppy aroma, citrus, grapefruit. Pale yellow, off-white head, good lace. Malt sweet, rather bitter, grapefruit, light oily on the pallet. Very easy going, refreshing.

As glädje at stearin. Aroma of hops and yeast. Not a massive hop nose, but they are definitely there. Opaque appearance, not much head, short retention. Nice pale ale. Malt and hops with a slight yeast twang. Not outstanding but I?d definitely buy another...

TheJestersBeer (2431) - SWEDEN - APR 17, 2013
UPDATED: APR 18, 2013 330ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium straw, with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma, caramel, apricot, yeast, spruce. Dry, medium bodied, mid to high bitterness, slightly low CO2. Hoppy, slightly rough and unbalanced taste, apricot, caramel, yeast, citrus peel, earth, lightly phenolic. Needs a bit working on, this one. (2013-04-16)
