EerieDrinks (322) - Malm, SWEDEN - DEC 14, 2017
3 finger dark tan head.
Pitch black beer.

Aroma is dark roast coffee, oats, ash, raisins and tobacco.

Taste is oats, dark roast coffee, burnt soil, raisins and tobacco.

Mouthfeel is round and smooth with a medium-low bitterness. Medium-low carbonation. Low on sweetness.

Overall: Pleasant for a single Stout, a lot bolder than beers in this style usually are. Roasty and smoky with a very subtle sweetness. Dark beers that are not Imperial strength are usually a waste of time but this one is really solid for what it is.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2017 Svart med beige skum. Doft av kaffe och lakrits. Smak av kaffe, lakrits, rostade toner, ganska lång beska, låg sötma. Medel fyllighet. Känns rätt ren i sina smaker. God!

330ml can from Systembolaget. Black with a dense brown head, good lacing. Roasted aroma, ash, coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa nibs some mild vanilla and fudge notes. Wheat smooth and silky mouthfeel, close to non existent carbonation, medium bodied. Roasted bitter taste, coffee, cocoa, bilberries, sweet chocolate and fudge. Long raw bitter finish. Unpolished and rough, not sure if this is what they wanted it to be, but I kind of liked it.

Draught @ Dunkbar, Odense. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of malt and touches of yeast and fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of malt and yeast and touches of hops and coffee. Roasty aftertaste with estery hints. Decent.
