From an expired bottle, pours a nice orange red color with a nice off white head. Aroma of caramel malts and candy. Flavors of caramel malts, candy and straw. Light body, but nice and refreshing taste. Not bad for a asian.

Had with some spicy Thai food and it balanced it out nicely. There was little roast malt flavor but the beer was fairly malty with not much else.

11.2 oz bottle. Aroma is cloying malty sweet, bread. Pours clear cola brown with a medium off-white head that fades pretty quick, leaving a little lace. Taste is super malty, grain. Carbonation is average with a creamy mouthfeel. Blech.

Date: April 6, 2012 Mode: Bottle Source: BVery via Halftime Description: Dirty brown pour with nice head that faded fast. Aroma is malt and same with the taste. Aftertaste is not very good at all. Not sure the style is captured correctly on this one, but I guess if the beer sucks who cares right.

Bottle. Cola colored pour with a nice soapy head. Very mild aroma. Slightly thin palate. Slight caramel and toffee taste.

Deep dark cola coloured body with a frothy, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, toffee, metal and a touch of coffee. Medium-bodied; Toasted malt flavour with a good nutty and earthy bite, some metal and alcohol soon afterwards and a sweet finish. Aftertaste is nice and robust - earthy and nutty, but still very sweet and potent. Overall, a very nice beer to break the monotony of the typical lagers you see here. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Pencil Supermarket in Phnom Penh, Cambodia earlier in the day for 3500Riel (US$0.90) sampled on 03-April-2012.

puzzl (3264) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Bottled. Mild aroma, lightly grainy. Very clean. Decent body, only a touch of sweetness. No real off notes. A touch of chocolate. Not particularly flavorful, but very easy drinking.

BeerHawk (1811) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Bottle. Poured a dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of grain, roasted malt, and hints of rice. The flavor found rice, brown sugar, and light roasted malts. Light body and watery.

Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 1, 2012
courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - pours a clear brown beer under a solid and long lasting pale beige foam; very buttery aroma with notes of caramel and cola; sweet and medium-bodied; initially velvety mouthfeel but with a late earthy tartness; dry aftertaste of butterscotch and vegetables - cloying and unpleasant

GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - FEB 28, 2012
