For SE Asia, this beer is the best, for everywhere else, it’s ok. This dark, medium-bodied lager has some spicy notes, but is pretty mellow in flavor. Sweet molasses taste, no real head. Tim Webb (443) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2012
330 ml bottles all over Laos. Whoever designated this a pale lager, Imperial or otherwise, was wearing sunglasses and drinking a different beer. This is somewhere dark Dunkel-ish, and while not great is at least different for South East Asia. Caramel but not enough, stuck in nomansland between soft and roasty, not big on malt and with no sound hop statement. But still different for South East Asia. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 12, 2012
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours brown with a fluffy, light tan head. Aroma of caramel, some pale malts, a little nuts, plus light hops. Flavor the same. Average to light texture. Not a bad beer. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2012
This "Strong Pale Lager/Imperial Pils" poured a clear, deep caramel body with a substantial pale tan head and laced the glass nicely. It had a nose of bread with some runny caramel on it and trace hints of chocolate. The flavor dropped the chocolate and added a splash of alcohol and a little dirty bitterness. Just as passable as it is drinkable. mutz (1083) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2012
Amberkleurig. Veel kraag die snel verdijnt. Ruikt metaalachtig.Smaakt een beetje moutig een beetje bitter, niet veel body. Niet slecht.
