Helder lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Fles 0.33L in Luang Prabang, Laos. Smaak is licht hoppig bitter en licht zoet. Een echt lekker en goed bier.

Bottle from a supermarket in Thailand. As another reviewer noted, this is greater than the sum of its parts. Light body, creamy texture with a hint of sweet citrus. Others may find this beer average but compared to most local beers here in Thailand, it’s first choice.

Clear, dark amber to brown colored, small to medium beige frothy head. Aroma is of some rice and malt, caramel, light metal. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, maybe bit toffee, light+ grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation, watery.

Thanks kajser! Shared with him and ogivlado. Bronze-copper body, off white lasting thick head. Empty aroma, vague maltiness, grainy. Empty taste, sweetish, vague clean maltiness, creamy. That’s it. Nothing else. Impressively light for 6.5%. Nothing great about it, damn drinkable, better than the sum of its parts.

3fourths (9299) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2016
Bottle from H Mart pours caramel brown and clear with a short and quick head. With a mild skunky undertone the aroma is lightly malty in the way of dark caramel syrup and tootsie rolls and oxidized in the way of copper pennies. Light bodied and watery, sweet and malty with fizzy carbonation and a lightly bitter finish. This bottle was pulled from a cooler, but is showing the effects of age and transport and is not in its best shape.

Solid Asian lager, great mouth profile, crystal malt flavors, light hops. No rice fillers

Bottle, 330ml, from a 7-11 in Bangkok. A clear brown colour with a small quickly-diminishing head. Aroma of sweet chocolate malt. Flavour has malt, a little caramel sweetness, but not much else. Moderate carbonation. Disappointing.

tfontana (913) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 13, 2016
Bottle pour into tulip glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is clear, dark copper with trace sparkle, minimal off-white head, quickly fading to ring, with fair lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, fruit, English hops. Taste is fruit, caramel, English hops. Palate is light-to-medium bodied, thick texture, soft carbonation, and malty, sweet finish. Overall, good for the style. Enjoyable but not complex.

jbruner (4567) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 5, 2016
Pours a clear brown from the bottle with bubbly off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild caramel, but mostly clean rice lager. Taste follows with a clean bitterness and mild grassy note. Decent for what it is, but probably not gonna drink it again.

Small bottle in Vientiane, Laos. A rather nice reddish brown colour with a minimal light brown head that disappears quickly. Medium carbonation. Sweet aroma with coffee and chocolate. Malty taste with coffee. Light and sweet.. An easy drink and good for a dark lager from Asia. The extra strength helps.
