Bottle from Grima, thanks! Dark brown color. Grainy aroma with a hint of caramel. Grainy sweet flavor with hints of caramel and coffee. Nasty by-flavors. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2011

Bottle @ home, thanks vjl! Aroma is roasty malt, nutty, caramel. Very much like when steeping.
Flavour is roasty malty, roasty clings on a bit.
Pretty good considering. j12601 (13304) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear dark mahogany brown with a thin to medium sized beige head. Toast and a touch of roasted malt on the nose. Gentle malt and a touch of roast. Slightly nutty, toast, more malt. Finishes with a slight sweetness and roasty malt. Decent and easy drinking. Pleasantly surprised. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 13, 2011
I had this beer poured from the bottle while in Luang Prabang, Laos. The beer had a dark brown color with a very small off-white head which quickly disappeared without cling. It had a grainy, malty aroma with some touches of earthy hops as well. The flavor was slight sweet and malty, but also had a strong bitter grainy component. It had low carbonation and very little fizz, and was fairly smooth with a light, wet mouthfeel. BroSpud (2283) - , Massachusetts, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Bottle. Pours a medium to dark amber with a nice tan head and decent lacing. This is actually way better than I expected though still nothing to get excited about. I have yet to try an asian beer that I really like but this one is (slightly) better than most and one that I can actually get through a whole bottle of. It still has that skunky rice taste but it also has more of a malt taste to cover some of that skunkiness up. CH-303 (2407) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2011
