3fourths (9299) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2016
Bottle from H Mart pours caramel brown and clear with a short and quick head. With a mild skunky undertone the aroma is lightly malty in the way of dark caramel syrup and tootsie rolls and oxidized in the way of copper pennies. Light bodied and watery, sweet and malty with fizzy carbonation and a lightly bitter finish. This bottle was pulled from a cooler, but is showing the effects of age and transport and is not in its best shape.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of kajser27, shared with him and Marko. Amber coloured, small white to off-white head, whiff of caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light cardboard and caramel syrup with notes of grain and slightly watery finish. Not bad for what it is.

330ML bottle. Light brown and clear. Skunky hop aroma. some roasted cereal and rice. Soy sauce for coloring. Flavor of corn and rice. Not too far from a Soy sauce colored Miller Lite. Surprisingly better than expected.

not too much on the dark front. the aroma is mostly weak, taste is a little soapy, with some rice background that is common in Asian made beers. drinkable

As always tasting beer after a day spent on various long haul busses, tuk tuks and boats it was the best beer I’ve ever had. On reflection it’s passable darkish ale and a wonderful relief from the sea of fizzy lager to the south. Pours like a flat coke, slight biscuit taste, wee bit of hops and sweetness

Musty aromas with hints of caramel malts. Pours golden amber? The bottle says dark i was expecting a dark lager? Smooth malt flavors, caramelly with grassy hop flavors. For an Asian lager I was expecting a lot worse to be honest, this might be one of my favorites from South East Asia.

12oz bottle (2009) into a pint glass. Pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is an off-putting combo of weak coffee from roasted malts mixed with skunk. The flavor is sweet, a little nutty, slightly skunky, and there’s a hint of sunflower seed in there.
