Fancy bottle @ Hemlock, Bangkok. The pour’s medium gold with the tiniest of white heads. The nose is general sweet corn syrup, some cardboard and a bit of wood. The taste has a nice accent of banana, and otherwise general sweet pale lager flavors. Quite carbonated and a bit syrupy. Overall, I actually didn’t hate this. It’s cheap, but it hits the spot.

From the bottle. Gold with a thin, white head. Aroma is grass, boiled rice, plastics. Taste is grassy bitter from start to end. Hints of Schnapps. Body stays relatively light with moderate carbonation. A beer better shared—the more people the merrier.

From estucerveza. In Teku glass. Playing Broken Age. Light bodied and refreshing, without much flavors but grassy bitter, nice rice notes in aroma and taste and light sweetness

From the bottle coded Manufactured JE/JB/BJAG, Yellow pour under a short lasting white fizzy head. Good clarity. A bready sweet malt forward aroma on the nose with grainy characters and grass. The body is light to medium. The taste mildly sweet with a light, clean crisp bitterness to finish. It represents the style well.

Bottle from Pho, Leicester. Golden and clear with little head or visible carbonation. Light aroma but there's a touch of caramelly malts., toast and roasted corn. Sweetish taste with a touch of balancing bitterness. Heavily carbonated. Wow, a lager that tastes... pretty good.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 As expected, it has a thick white head on top of a pale yellow body. It doesn’t smell of anything. Maybe I still have a cold. It tasted as bland as it smells, which is kind of off putting but it isn’t bad either. It’s a good baseline beer to use for comparison.

martpez (335) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2017
Very sweet gassy beer. Decent amount of taste but it gets sickly and is far too bloating.

stupre (529) - Nanterre, FRANCE - SEP 21, 2017
33cl bottle purchased @ Tang Frères. Lager très classique avec petit côté fruité.

3.2
Piepenhenrich (1230) - Steinbach, GERMANY - AUG 27, 2017
By far the best and most original brew from Southeast Asia. Have a sundowner on the shores of the mighty river Mekong, and you know what’s it all about. Objectively, it still cannot compare to top beers from across the globe.
