[Bottle from "my good man" at the Bacton Shop, Bacton, Norfolk] Good to find a small village shop next to a coastal caravan park stocking local ales - and the proprietors were exceptionally friendly too! This beer was a reddish-amber, with orange and strawberry coming through. It’s mellow and warming, but rather vague. OK, nevertheless. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 31, 2011
Cask (gravity). Fine, loose & disappearing bubbly white head atop a clear copper-amber body. Caramel, hint of yeast, orangey mid fruits & toasted malt aromas. Solid biscuit body, some mid fruits, yeast and a decent finishing toasty, grassy bitterness. Light to medium body, good length finish, softish carbonation.
