Tap. Red brown body. Small off white head. Sweet malty aroma ("Belgian"). Light to moderate sweet malty flavour. A tad burnt flavour in the finish. (De Beiaard, Amsterdam, 07.12.08) Theres (50) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 13, 2009
Aroma of a whitbeer. Darker in body though, strange orange-brown unclear color. Smoky flavour, and dry and bitter finish. I’m glad I tasted it, but its no favourite. Served in a funny glass mad a bit angry barman :-) Ok, my belgian is not very good.

Forboding, yet inviting toffee-coloured turbid appearance. Light creamy head. Toffee in the aroma too - promises some alcohol perhaps? Dry and nutty taste. Sticky, coats the mouth. Quite like a brown ale in part, but a bit too fizzy. Not a coherent beer experience; the smell and taste didn’t match each other, for example.
