On tap at De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam. Clear labelled ’Bock Ros 2010’ - new recipe? Clear brown - red beer. Good creamy tan head. Light soft palate. A little dry. Trace of minerals and then slightly burned toffee. Well integrated in some supressed orangey hop bitterness. Tiny trace of bubblegum sweetness in the finish. Fresh and nicely jioned up. Postscript: Did not notice any ginger in this at all!
Draught (Beiaard, Amsterdam)MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2006
Forboding, yet inviting toffee-coloured turbid appearance. Light creamy head. Toffee in the aroma too - promises some alcohol perhaps? Dry and nutty taste. Sticky, coats the mouth. Quite like a brown ale in part, but a bit too fizzy. Not a coherent beer experience; the smell and taste didn’t match each other, for example.
Draught. Cloudy, dark red/brown colour. Creamy, stable light brown head. Nice aroma, roasted, sweet, liquorice. Very malty flavour. Mouthfeel and flavour are creamy. Malty, slightly roastedly bitter aftertaste. Slightly high carbonation. Has some Lund Teknik ESB to it. Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2014
