Tap at the brewery. Blond color, hazy appearance, small but nice and creamy head. Aroma of top fermentation, phenolic, sour perfume, vanilla and citruses. Smooth mouthfeel, creamy texture with a moderated flavor of a witbier like citruses, sour tastes and nice sweetness. Easy drinkable wit.

Borresteijn (7517) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 13, 2008
On tap @ Beiaard, Amsterdam. My girlfriend’s favourite. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of wheat yeast and citrus, flavour is wheat, citrus, some spice and yeast. A bit sweet, but very refreshing.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2008
Draught @ De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam. Drinkable if not especially flavoursome with mild spice and tangy citrus.

FatPhil (17147) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 8, 2008
Draught (Beiaard, Amsterdam)

Cloudy yellow, brief billowing head. Crisp refreshing wheat aroma - coriander, citrus, and banana. Classic hefe-weizen - full bodied and refreshing - banana, citrus, and coriander, with a lovely heavy sticky burnt caramel.

Oct, 2007 De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam Has the signature yeast flavour of the other two. A mild spice warm up into menthol. Slightly watery - quite modest for a wheat, but drinkable.

[email protected], Spui, Amsterdam. Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is spices, wheat and fruits. Flavour is spices, wheat, some yeast and quite much lemon. Aftertaste is mainly lemon and wheat along with some spices.

2.7
Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 19, 2007
Fat sticky white collar atop a fragile, cloudy pale yellow. Fresh coriander and globally grainy nose with nondescript malts and bland wheat. Minimalist, spice oriented palate where foaminess is overdeveloped and the flavour development remains restrained. Not much happening here.

ogivlado (8126) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 11, 2007
On tap at De Beiaard.

Pours a hazy lemon colour with small white head and acidic lemony nose. Fresh wheaty, mild spicy and strong lemony, but very industrial taste. Citric finish. Refreshing after walking across Amsterdam for a whole day.

2.6
Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 10, 2007
Draught at De Beiaard. Hazy straw color. Grainy aroma with notes of tobacco. Dryish, grainy and peppery flavor with some phenols and coriader. Perhaps a bit too much coriander for my taste.
