: Sweet yellow fruit aroma with a hint of lemon and some coriander. Hazy, yellow color, white head, fair lace. Sweet, light bitter, light fruity, bit neutal overall. Little sticky mouthfeel. Reading my previous rating it seems that they went from German Weizen to Belgian Witbier. [email protected], Feb 05, 3.7
: Wheat, citrus aroma with a hint of banana. Cloudy yellow, white head, very nice lace. Light sweet, bit malty, light bitter, light banana to very nice banana in the finish, medium body.
On tap at De Bekeerde Suster (Nov 03). I’m so glad someone has been able to track down the producers of this, and get it on the site, as it’s been bugging me for over a year! Rather strong Wit I felt, very spicy, with a sweet (almost sickly) hit to finish. Not my favourite of the style but nice to try. rauchbier (3960) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2004
Keg, De Bekeerde Suster Oct2003 (contract brewed elsewhere at the time). Hazy lemon yellow, excellent fluffy white head and moderate condition. Good peardrop and coriander spiciness in the nose and mouth, although the promise of the aroma is slightly muted on the tongue. Aftertaste looses it on the last corner and hits a tree.

Drank at the Beiaard, Amsterdam. Cloudy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma is spicy of coriander, some wheat and yeast, banana. Bit sweet belgian white taste, little spicy only. Bit sticky palate. Decent belgian white, the bartender thought it to be the best, but it lacks some body IMO.
