Bottle 500ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2016 - Day 2 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London.

[ As Szent András Fekete ].
Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, bread, sweet malt, brown sugar, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, brown sugar, sweet malt, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160807]

Bottle at a hipster area. Pours with a lovely cream foam. Scent is lager yeast and quite light. Taste is surprisingly inconsistent lactic bock with some ethanol properties. Maybe traditionally brewed in wood vats. Resin. Finish is smooth. Ok, this was great.

W aromacie i smaku śliwki, ciemny chleb, kawa, czekolada, rodzynki. Ciało wodniste, pijalne. W wyglądzie ciemny brąz, bez piany. Ogólnie dość przyzwoity ciemny bock.

On tap @ Eleszto, Budapest. Toasted black bread, chocolate, coffee. Some stale coffee at the end. Sweet and lightly bitter. Good!

On tap at OgreBacsi Budapest. Jet black thin layer of tan head. Light roasted malt aroma. Tastes like smores, sweet biscuit, sweet marshmallow and some cocoa. Really tasty. Finish isn’t as long as I’d like but still retains flavor and adds some prune. Really great Hungarian beer, what a shame I’m tasting it for the first time.

Bottle shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds buttery toffee, brown bread. Medium sweet flavour with more toffee, faint metal, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat drying in the finish, with sweet toffee, earth, dried fruits. Not bad.

Az első kézműves söreim egyike. Alap barna sör. Malátás íz csokoládés jegyekkel. A komoly barna sörökhöz képest is megállja a helyét.

Demens (538) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 21, 2017
0,5l bottle. Very thick dark colour with medium lasting small beige head. Aroma: Light caramel but a bit skunky with roasted coffee bean. Taste: Sweet rich malty start with a medium bitter mouthfeel (with coffee tone). Has a light smokey caracter that makes the sip better. The taste is way better than the aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium lasting sour/bitter finish. The aroma isn’t good but the taste saves the day.

Hansen (8629) - Assentoft, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2016
Dark brown coloured and clear. Has an off-white head, lasting. Light roasted aroma, caramel.
