0.33 l bottle from Csak a jo sor. Shared with Igor and Marko. Dark brown, red tint, small head. Strong alcohol, dry fruits, syrup, caramel, brown sugar. Some chocolate, sweet, soft. Alcohol present. Warming and soothing feeling in the finish. This one is very good, for a winter’s day it would be the best.

Fules (1233) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - APR 18, 2016
Nincs habja, színe szinte már fekete. Illata kissé édeskés, gyógynövényes, icipici karamellel. Édeskés, karamelles ízvilág pörköltmalátás alapon, földes, aszalt gyömölcsös aromákkal, gyenge keserűvel és szénsavassággal. Testes, de nem nehéz. Finom desszertsör.

Sold as Black Army. Deep black appearance with a head that disappears almost instantly. Pretty boozy. Lots of caramel with some cognac at the very end.

No i cały czas lekko karmelowe. Wysycenie średnie w stronę wysokiego, półpełne, goryczka delikatna wspomagana owocowym alkoholem.

Dark black with minimal head that fades. Gingerbread cookies, annis, and sweet bread on the nose. German style doppelbock intensity. Malty and a wee bit boozy. Warming cognac finish. Very well done, a fine example of the style. One of the best from the Bekesszentandrasi crew, and maybe one of the best beers out of Hungary.
