   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 4/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 7/20

0.5 l bottle bought at the 4th Főzdefeszt. (Also tasted on tap at Főzdefeszt., did not like it, but this rating is about the botled version.) Starts with fairly thick head, quickly vanishes. Aroma is sour. Palate is way to carbonated for me. Taste is more on the bitter side, with some malt detectable. Somehow there is a medicine-like bitterness in this beer I did not like at all. It dominates the aftertaste as well. Will not be my favourite.

Pyrmir (6094) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2017
500 ml bottle at a food court in Budapest. Golden with white head. Aroma and taste is malty, clean, crisp, herbs, grass, floral notes with medium bitterness. Good!

if you drink a beer not because you are thirsty, but just for enjoying a great taste, Ogre is the best solution. Its unique good taste cannot be mixed up with any other beer. It has a long lasting after taste as well.

Icedwarf (1657) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - MAR 23, 2017
Blik 500cc van supermarkt, Budapest. Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter, licht zoet en kruidig met iets van vanille en kaneel. Eén van de betere bieren uit Hongarije tot nu toe.

Very strong, characteristic aroma, with a bitter after taste. In general is a good beer, nice beer even on an international level, but not the best of the company. I still drink it ocassionaly.

graziano85 (466) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 6, 2017
Pale golden color, with a small white creamy head. Aroma is malty, straw, grassy hops but a bit weak. Taste is malty, with grassy hops notes.Dry finish, quite bitter. A bit too much the "grass" aftertaste, but all in all a nice pils.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2017 Aroma is pretty constant, golden colour with small head. Moderate maltiness with low hoppy finnish. Tiny bit of alcoholic aftertaste.

Pallleon (361) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 20, 2017
Borostyán szín. Kicsi hab, nem túl tartós. Malátás illat, némi citrusossággal. Nem túl keserű íz. Könnyen iható kis sör.

Demens (442) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 16, 2016
0,5l bottle. Clear golden colour with medium lasting white head. Aroma: Grassy, hay with notes of caramel and herbs. Taste: Sweet/sour start with a medium/strong bitter mouthfeel. The malty start quickly fades and the hops are dominating the taste. Has some herbal tones too. Not bad but the sour caracter is a bit too strong for me. Light/medium body with fizzy carbonation. Long bitter than sour finish.

Great all rounder easy drinking but heavy taste. Cool for summer night. Enjoy.
