Clear goldblond colourd beer with lots of carbonation and a very small white head. Very few aroma, herby with some sweet chocolate touches. Full palate. Finish is bit herby and bitter. Good pilsener.

On Tap, CAME IN A PLASTIC PINT!!!! What is this hersay? It was a soft larger, not bad, unmemorable. I was a bit drunk at this point so it might be a good thing it was a characterless beer.

Van tvat, Poatersgat, Brugge. Whats this?? Hoppy Belgian pils with distinct piney and garden herb noble hop character?? Nose pure Munich-like pale biscuity malt, CO2, conifer. LACY. Even at the end of a VERY heavy session on the Taras Boulba and Pannepot, the delicate hop and floury soft malt character cut through. Tasty and authentic (whisper it quietly) Belgian pils.

0.25 l bottle. Golden color with creamy head and some yeast flocs. Malty and honeyish aroma with some herbal hops and hints of lemon. Malty, honeyish and lemony flavor with medium bitterness. OK but plain pilsner.

Bottled 25cl. It pours a pale golden beer with a beautiful, nicely lasting white rocky head. Hops and melon in the nose. Surprisingly sweet taste. Hops and melon showing up. Beautiful lacing. Full bodied for a pilsener. Not all that bitter. Sweet finish with a hint of honey, oranges and hops. A very fruity, full bodied and sweet pilsener.

draught @ the white horse. smells of oat cookies. Looks stunning. Finely carbonated, clearest straw yellow, creamy perfectly white head. beautiful condition. Actually found myself staring at my pint, due to the lovely dance of teeny-weeny little bubbles which kept a lovely thick creamy head and resulted in a gorgeous lace round the glass as i drank it. Very delicate hoppy pils. very true, and excellent example of this style. all round and none of the ingredients stick out. just like it should be.

Solid, thirst-slaking pils. Draft. Pours pale gold, bright an clear with lots of rising bubbles. Nice, white, persistent and fluffy head. Light, grainy nose with faint grassy-hops. Tastes grainy and lightly malty, with a refreshing, mild bitterness carried on average carbonation. Definitely a notch or two above Stella, Maes and the other local big boys.
