330 ml bottle. Pours somewhat hazy, whitish pale. No head to speak about. Aroma is fuller than I expected, some artificial sugar sweetness dominating. Taste has almost no flavour, besides this chemical sweetness. I don’t understand what is the point to make shitty happoshu abroad, then import it to Japan. petewhitley (566) - Nagoya, JAPAN - MAY 16, 2014
resin, grass, pale, hazy, frothy, white foam, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation. Notable that this came in a plastic bottle from AEON supermarket. Faint but pleasant aroma. Rather appealing in appearance, very nice layer of white foam that’s in no hurry to dissipate. Taste on the other hand is just lacking. There’s a vaguely oily bitterness to this alcohol water. As a child my friends and I would buy "fake beer" powder at a magic shop; my memory might be hazy but I’m reminded of that while drinking this. maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle. (This beer is a contract brew produced for Tokuoka Co. Ltd., which operates the "Marche" chain of stores in Japan.) Very slight grassiness and
minimal hop aroma. Clear pale straw, filmy white head. Light grain and cardboardy initial / and not much else throughout the palate. Thin body. WTF, the price is double that of an average happoshu. Maybe this will appeal as a "premium" junk beer?
