COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you’re a fan of classic movies and Mel Brooks you’ll love this beer, a delicious and fruity IPA without the punch to the face. The Amarillo and Simcoe hops complement the natural mango flavors for a juicy, tropical and well-balanced beer. It’s not over the top fruity, still very much an IPA… never mind that… HERE COMES MANGO!

Rating #2781 - 2016.08.29 - Bottleshare at CBI. Aroma of mango preserve, orange peel. Pours a clear golden with a frothy white head. Palate has some juicy mango and citrus sweetness, some oily bitter notes. Decent.

On tap. Pours a hazy gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Fruity aroma of mango, pineapple, tangerine and pine with biscuit malt in the background. Sweet fruity flavour of mango, pineapple, tangerine, peach, caramel, light pine and biscuit malt backbone with a dry, bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

Decent but the sweetness of the added fruit comes through too much for me. Pours a bright golden orange with light carbonation, a fuzzy off white head that dies slowly leaving a few lacing rings. Aroma is fruity, tropical and zesty with citrus and floral hop notes. Light malts, caramel and crystal malts. Good balance overall with overt mango flavour; more subtle hop notes of pineapple, grapefruit and lemon zest. Bitterness is moderate and lingers shortly.

Sampled at GABF 2017 with Paul, Larry and Andrew. Pours a clear, golden orange body with thin white lace. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with notes of juicy mango, pineapple, tropical hop and light pale malt character.

650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to reveal some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is dominated by the mango with some citrus and caramel. Taste is a mango and caramel malty sweetness with a citrus hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a very well crafted IPA that is balanced and tasty.

Bottle from 7-11: Poured a murky golden apple juice color with no formation of head yet there was plenty of violent carbonation bubbles rising to the top. The aroma let out a tropical fruity smell after capping off the beer but once it was poured into my glass cup there was no smell of anything. Flavor is bland and has nothing to speak about other than expired malts and dead yeast. Disappointing beer that looked like it was a fresh bottle because of the updated logo but still somehow expired and flat.

650ml brown bottle. Light haze, yellow colour. Fat, very fat white cap. Nose has floral notes and fruity mango and tropical notes. Taste - mango fruit up front, grains and light bitterness. Overall impressions - a nice fruity IPA, the mango works well.

On tap @ The Beav Tavern. Clear golden beer with a nice white head. Has a pretty nice mango quality to it along with plenty of bright citrus. Almost lemony, but not quite as assertive. Decent amount of grass, some lime, and a light malt base of bread and biscuit. Pretty mild bitterness, which is also nice. Not always a fan of the fruited IPA, but thought this was pretty well done.

Unfiltered hazy dark gold color with a fluffy head of white foam. Some sediment floating around takes away from this being a good enough looking glass. Past that this is a refreshing tropical IPA that seesaws malt base with mango and hops.
