COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Californias Highway 78, this India Pale Ale was brewed in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the city of Vista. With plenty of Galaxy, Falconers Flight, Southern Cross and just a tad bit of Nelson hops, our latest IPA is truly sessionable. Aromas include grapefruit, passionfruit, and citrus.

Draft at BitterCreek. Hazy golden, small creamy head. Muted citrusy aroma, but gets bigger with taste. Grapefruit flavors accented with some savory spice, herbal tones. Nice bite finishes it.

Can at The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a hazy deep golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, some pineapple, slight porridge and subtle perfumey, floral hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, some passionfruit, maybe pineapple, slight white bread, wheat, oats and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, dryish, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Not as citrusy or hoppy as I was expecting. Quite bready/oaty with soft fruit and citrus. Enjoyed it but just slightly weird for its style.

On Tap at PreFunk, Boise Cloudy yellow orange. Full dense white creamy head. Fresh light floral and citrus hoppy aromas. Flavors are similar, a little grassy and a strange chemicaly harshness. Light unfiltered body.

Vibrant and hazy golden sunny orange color with a thin head of white soapy foam. Soft and smooth orange and grapefruit juice with some pineapple at the middle. Not aggressive at all. Very smooth and friendly all the way to the finish.

Bottle of delightful surprise. Tasted a bit more like a hefeweizen than an IPA, but delicious none the less. Piney hops, smooth taste, no bitter aftertaste. Would definitely drink this one again.

Very interesting interpretation. Floral aroma and flavors dominate with a nice hoppy bitterness to balance it out.

Can. Slightly hazy yellow appearance. Fruity aroma on opening which continues to develop into a lovely fruity flavour. Medium body and left lots of lacing. My first from this brewery and a pleasant introduction.

Canned, 355ml from BeerMerchants of Kent. Gold with white head. There is a bready, doughy, malty character to this from the start, doughy then a resinous hop note. The hop becomes a little intense later with a tropical fruit note. Not tremendously well balanced for me but okay.
