COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is refreshingly smooth, tasting of roasted coffee, chocolate and peanut butter. Brewed with rolled oats and lactose, this beer has a silky-smooth mouth-feel finish. Don’t let the color fool you. This dark beer is easy-drinking.

Bottle from Vons, Las Vegas. Pours cloudy dark brown to black with a diminishing, frothy, beige head. The aroma contains - indeed - lots of peanut butter, peanuts, caramel, butterscotch, coffee, milk chocolate, and very faintly some roasted malt. It tastes medium to heavy sweet with the peanut butter and chocolate aroma kicking in; further light roasted bitter (though almost no hops). The finish is rather short and a bit dry. Medium to full body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. The mouthfeel is very heavy and I could only take a few sips of it. Aromawise, this is definitely a success, but the peanut butter is so overpowering and the sweetness so heavy that my taste buds find this intolerable.

Pour is a black with a small white head. Aroma is a intense roasted nut. Like fresh roasted right out of the hopper. Flavor is a little less than the aroma. A bit of roasted nut with a equal bit of chocolate malt. Finish is not a huge sweetness but the lactose is noticeable. This was a nice peanut butter stout. The aroma was by far the best thing about this beer.

12 oz single bottle from Total Wine & More - Laguna Hills Black appearance with a light brown head. Pleasant aroma of peanut butter, chocolate malt, light caramel/toffee, nutty malts and light coffee. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and a touch of bitterness. Medium to light body with a slight watery feel and a lingering PB finish. Fun.

Bottle, 650 ml from Beergium, shared with rest of the crew. Pours dark brown with lasting beige head. Lots of peanut butter in aroma, chocolate, roasted, napolitanke (Croatian waffle cookies), moderate+ sweetness. Medium bodied. Bit lacking in taste, would prefer more body supporting such strong aromas, this way feels bit artificial.

Tap at Hair ot the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok Two Year Anniversary Party. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, biscuit, peanut butter. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich sweet, buttery lactose, fake sugar, peanut butter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Poured from a 12 ounce can. Poured a clear black beer with a small head that disappears. The aroma is Cocoa Puffs dust, the smell of the box when no puffs are left. The flavor is of a dry Cocoa Puff. Minimal peanut butter, but it is there. Should have a more defined peanut butter character.

Dark brown with a milk chocolate head. Chocolate and peanut butter are the primary aromas with a little coffee thrown in. Some sweetness that plays well with the peanut butter and chocolate. light to medium bodied. Very soft texture. Yes it is liquid Reese’s.
