Very dark black on the pour with a creamy brown head. Hints of peanut butter reminiscing of opening a bottle of Skippy and sweet honey. Taste of peanuts and coffee grounded together. Enough said! Great roasty flavor lingers. A Must!

Canned at Haket, Gteborg, on May 17, 2017.
Black color, big bubbled large head, brown in color. Smoked, sweet, salty scent. Malty, smoked, some peanutbutter taste. Grainy, smoked aftertaste. Fizzy to medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.

Dark brown color. Big sweet condensed milk with chocolate nose. Lots of peanut butter, condensed milk, unbalanced and a bit thin mouth but super sweet. Lingering sweet chocolate finish. Not my thing.

22 oz Bomber poured into a pint glass. Pours dark brown with a decent mocha head with great retention, leaves some lacing. Aroma of peanut butter, chocolate and some caramel and cinnamon. Not something that I would drink daily, this doesnt really work for me.

On Tap at PreFunk, Boise black and a small dense lasting tan head. Smoth sweet malty roast aromas and flavors. Even for a sweet stout, under bittered I think. Still, smooth easy drinking dark beer. The nuttiness is detectable but not showcased.

Can from Rehills, Newcastle. Inky black with a rapidly disappearing tan head. It has a very rich hazelnut and chocolate flavour followed by peanut, vanilla and milk chocolate on the smooth finish. Unusual and excellent!

Tried 2016 so a late rating. Cheers to my lovely wife for bringing this one home for me - my lactose intolerance can wait!
Into a snifter at just on chilled. Inky black with a tarrish, tannish froth of wash atop. Pronounced roasted peanut and hazelnut husk, peanut butter, lightly roasted coffee bean, smoke, ash and cigarette ash on the nose - apart from the last part it was enticing. Gassy on the palate is first thought. Rather loses its vibe. Peanut butter is predominant in the aftertaste and mixed with the hazelnut flavours comes across as liquid Nutella. Quite a few stern swirls of the glass to rid that pesky CO2 and it comes across as quite an ashen, smoky stout with underlying bitter chocolate and now heavily roasted coffee bean. Body is rather light for style initially, with a touch of lactose giving it a little tang. It thickens oh so much as it warms to room temperature, and develops flavourwise. Now smooth and rounded once the carbonic acid subsides. Big, thick malt and all manner of sticky dessert nuttiness. Burnt bitter caramel and diacetyl meet and work well together. This was a pleasure towards the end. Next can Ill try fresh of the shelf in the pantry me thinks. An interesting Stout. (12fl.Oz can, BB 13/10/16, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2017 Can at home with big bro listening to records. Black, no head with aroma of milk chocolate. Plenty of chocolate in there in fact as well as roasted malts and lactose. Struggling to find much in the way of peanut butter but pretty scrummy all the same.

Can at The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a black colour with a frothy tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut, biscuit, peanut butter, some caramel, slight coffee, roasted malts and subtle lactose. Taste of milk chocolate, peanut butter, hazelnut, biscuit, some caramel, slight coffee, roasted malts, a little lactose and subtle oats. Light to medium bodied and soft carbonation. A bittersweet, biscuity, peanut butter bitterness in the finish. Compared to Tailgates version this is a lot more refined and less artificial. Lovely and biscuity too. Little thin but still very good.

Quite strong on the peanut butter. Very good for anyone looking for peanut butter. But it's much more than subtle. Belching beaver SD ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
