Bottle from BevMo! in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pumpkin chocolate spice, pumpkin latte, eggnog. Taste is chocolate, pumpkin syrup. Mouthfeel is chalky, oat-thick, starchy (very similar to other dark BB beers). Not terribly sweet or artificial but not very memorable either. Bottle at home. Pours opaque black with a large, creamy tan head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is moderate roast and chocolate malt, pumpkin pie spices, crust notes and lactose. Flavor is sweet chocolate and lightly bitter roast malt, pumpkin pie spices, light molasses and brown sugar with a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation. blipp (9790) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 3, 2016
Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Sweet and mild roasted malts, relatively light pumpkin spice, some hints of chocolate, and a quick roasted finish. Relatively balanced, and really quite drinkable. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - SEP 24, 2016
Mostly nice roasted stout smells with a light hint of pumpkin. Dark black with thin white ring of head. Big smooth roasted stout with a lovely soft peanut butter pumpkin grows out then fades back in just as gently. Light soft spice on the residual, mellow and pleasant. weihenweizen (4166) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - JUL 14, 2016
Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a snifter. Black with no head. Aroma is big nutmeg, medium body, light carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is big nutmeg and chocolate.

Draught at the taproom in Vista, California. Black beer with a decent beige head. Roasted chocolate aroma, pumpkin, coffee, cream, tar notes, cinnamon, some caramel. Roasted chocolate and pumpkin flavor, cinnamon, clove, licorice, coffee, caramel, licorice notes. Full bodied and very well balanced. Best pumpkin beer I ever have had. On tap in north park. Clear thin black, almost no head. No pumpkin, just spices. Distinct cola notes, probably too much nutmeg is doing that. Definitely not as good as the peanut butter milk stout. Not very good. Capa (3500) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - OCT 30, 2015
Black. High spice. Cardamom, nutmeg. It needs a little refinement as it is a bit sharp. Good, though. tmoreau (4678) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2015
Shared bomber poured to small snifters, displaying a black/brown color with some ruby highlighting noticed at the stem, frothy, brownish tan head foam, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was roasted, gourmet/primo chocolate, pomander-like spices, with a touch of mint. Medium + bodied, with a pleasant creaminess to the mouthfeel, the taste was similar notes, including a lingering bitterness that was roasted, earthy, and dry finishing. Very flavorful. Bomber from Holden’s Liquor in Oxnard. First Belching Beaver beer and I’m a fan, all alliterations aside. Pours a dark brown with a small brown head and nice lacing. Spicy aroma from nutmeg but also some roasted nuts and coffee lurking in the background. Nice flavor that still has some coffee notes from the base stout but also some pumpkin spice flavor that isn’t overpowering; balanced.
