Dark ruby color, moderate head of foam, big fruity nose. Robust fruity palate is packed with apple-pear character, nice malt backbone, barely balancing hops in the finish.

Friend shared with me. Nah. Smelled and tasted like an amber bock. Very malty, not well balanced. Lots of carb. Not for me.

12oz bottle. Poured an amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, light toasted malts. Caramel notes, light nutty toffee. Touch of bread. Flavor is similar. It's okay - nice to have a little more than just sweet malt like you get from a lot of ambers.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2017 Got this in a beer of the month club. Love red ales. I would buy it if I saw it again.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, dark red with decent sparkle, 1/2-finger width off-white head with decent retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is bready malt with caramel and fruit. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture; average-to-lively carbonation and sweet but dry finish. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a pretty straightforward amber without a lot of nuance.

Dark amber colour. Big head but quickly dissipating. Can smell both hops and malt in the aroma. Okay to drink if not very strong in flavour.

12 ounce bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. A deep amber pour that has a big four finger of foam. The aroma is caramel malts. Those begin with an Irish tilt to them. Fruit is kind of what you would get in a fruit cake and that includes some spice. It is toasty. Finish is toffee and earth. Decent.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured amber with a beige head. Nice lacing. Nose of sweet caramel malts. Medium in body. Flavor is malty and there is not a lot of hops. Earthy finish with some light bitterness Drinkable though.

Punertavan ruskea olut pienehköllä, ei juuri pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu makea ja karamellisen maltainen. Maussa myös karamellista makeutta, loppumaussa mukavasti katkeruutta. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma. Ihan mukavasti tässä on runkoa voltteihin nähden. Hintalaatusuhde todellakin kohdallaan!

Bottle: Deep amber with a small vaniila/beige head. Caramel, light nut scent. Taste is the same....decent, but a pretty typical Amber Ale.....plain.

Bottle. Nutty toffee malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with large light tan head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter metallic grass flavor. Body on the light side.
