Bottle and served in a standard pint glass: Well it didn’t pour red or ruby damnit, more coppery with a small but lasting frothy head and good lace. The aroma displays no Lobster damnit, but does some caramel and biscuity malt, apple and pear, and surprisingly a pils hop character more than an ale esters I was expecting. The taste is quite grassy and herbal with a acidic twang. The malt is a side note on the finish. Rather straight forward brew, not much palate depth. The mouth feel is fizzy and has a dry and metallic finish. An okay brew, quaffable but not much else.
Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, dark red with decent sparkle, 1/2-finger width off-white head with decent retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is bready malt with caramel and fruit. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture; average-to-lively carbonation and sweet but dry finish. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a pretty straightforward amber without a lot of nuance. mahkus (136) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - DEC 23, 2016
Dark amber colour. Big head but quickly dissipating. Can smell both hops and malt in the aroma. Okay to drink if not very strong in flavour. Strykzone (7305) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - DEC 5, 2016
12 ounce bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. A deep amber pour that has a big four finger of foam. The aroma is caramel malts. Those begin with an Irish tilt to them. Fruit is kind of what you would get in a fruit cake and that includes some spice. It is toasty. Finish is toffee and earth. Decent. hayduke (5188) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 5, 2016
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured amber with a beige head. Nice lacing. Nose of sweet caramel malts. Medium in body. Flavor is malty and there is not a lot of hops. Earthy finish with some light bitterness Drinkable though.

Punertavan ruskea olut pienehköllä, ei juuri pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu makea ja karamellisen maltainen. Maussa myös karamellista makeutta, loppumaussa mukavasti katkeruutta. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma. Ihan mukavasti tässä on runkoa voltteihin nähden. Hintalaatusuhde todellakin kohdallaan!

Deep amber with a small vaniila/beige head.
Caramel, light nut scent.
Taste is the same....decent, but a pretty typical Amber Ale.....plain. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Bottle. Nutty toffee malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with large light tan head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter metallic grass flavor. Body on the light side. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - JUN 23, 2016
Pours an amber color with a short lived white head. Sweet malt, caramel, toffee, floral, earthy and light hop aroma. Caramel, toffee, biscuit, grain, sweet malt, floral and light hop flavors. Medium light body and average carbonation. Toffee, caramel, biscuit and floral finish. trapped (3086) - New York, TURKEY - MAY 20, 2016
Draught. Dark amber with small frothy beige head, caramel aroma, medium carbonation, slightly salty caramel taste, thin body, medium caramel finish. Nothing spectacular, but still decent. Jrwhitney6 (490) - - FEB 4, 2016
Beer of month club. Pours an amber color with little head. Nose of sweet malt. Taste is of some caramel, malt - maybe a bit over carbonated. Ok.
